Katelyn Baumbusch is a Business Development Specialist at SWAN Wealth Management of Raymond James.

She brings over six years of experience in U.S./Canada cross-border tax, previously having worked at two leading accounting services firms. Katelyn holds both her U.S. and Canadian CPA designations and has a deep understanding of the complexities of living and investing across borders.

She earned her Bachelor of Management from UBC, where she specialized in accounting. Katelyn is currently working toward her Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation to support clients with holistic tax and financial planning.

Katelyn’s personal life has always been cross-border, too. She grew up in San Antonio, Texas, spent her summers in Ontario, and eventually moved to Canada for university. Today, she calls Vancouver, BC, home and loves exploring the city’s food scene. If she’s not trying out a new restaurant, she’s likely outdoors with her toy Australian Shepherd, Charlee.

When she travels, it’s usually to reconnect with family - whether that’s visiting her sister in Texas or at her parents’ ranch in Oregon.
